Big Residential Landscape Install in Progress - Macon, Georgia

Big installs don't happen overnight. There's a lot of moving pieces - plants to stage, beds to prep, hardscape to work around - and every one of those details has to land in the right place before the whole thing clicks. That's exactly where we are with this one.

The crew has been putting in serious work on this property. We're talking boxwoods going up along the stone wall, ornamental grasses being staged and placed, arborvitae lined up along the perimeter, and shrubs getting set into freshly prepped beds with landscape fabric already down. Every plant has a spot, and we're working through it with intention.

What you don't always see in a finished landscape is all the hands it took to get there. On a job this size, we've got guys hauling plants, working the beds, fine-tuning placement, and stepping back to check the overall flow. It's a full team effort, and that coordination is what keeps a big install from looking thrown together.

Plant selection matters just as much as placement. The mix we're working with here - the tight, structured evergreens alongside the looser ornamental grasses - is the kind of layering that gives a landscape real depth. It looks great right away, and it only gets better as everything fills in.
